“Opening a New Prospect for Modern Embroidery”
Collaborating embroidery with painting is an extraordinary way of establishing her world of art. Fascinated with the exquisiteness of embroidery and flexibility of colorful paints working together, she constantly repeats the works to exquisitely project the beauty of each field. Han creates a new form of art by harmonizing accidental gradation formed by layers of paints on linen with the strands of embroidery thread. Han sets a simple yet dreamlike gradation as the abstract background. Butterflies, created on the screen by stitch drawings, flutters the world of infinite freedom singing ’songs without words’ for us.
